Software Engineer, Internal Platforms

Build and grow the internal platform systems that power operations, product teams, and AI infrastructure at scale. This full time, remote software engineering role is a hands-on fullstack position with high ownership, where you will contribute to and evolve core internal tools, services, and workflows, and expand into owning end to end platform components.

• Design and implement end to end fullstack systems that support critical internal workflows and platform capabilities.
• Build clean, scalable backend services and APIs with clear contracts and ownership.
• Develop high quality, performant frontend interfaces used by internal teams and stakeholders.
• Participate in data modeling and database performance optimization, including schema design and query tuning.
• Collaborate with product, operations, and design teams to translate ambiguous requirements into scalable systems.
• Improve platform reliability, observability, and developer experience across internal tooling.
• Uphold engineering quality through code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement.
• Investigate and resolve production issues while improving operational resilience.
• Make pragmatic tradeoffs between speed, scalability, and maintainability in a fast moving environment.

• Experience contributing to production fullstack systems, through internships, projects, or professional roles.
• Strong TypeScript fundamentals across frontend and/or backend development.
• Backend development experience with Node.js, NestJS is a plus.
• Frontend experience building user interfaces with React or similar frameworks.
• Familiarity with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and core data modeling principles.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and distributed system communication patterns.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or similar providers.
• Awareness of modern architectures, for example microservices, serverless, or event driven systems.
• Strong problem solving skills, an ownership mindset, and attention to detail.
• Comfort operating in ambiguous, fast moving environments.
• Preferred : experience with CI/CD, infrastructure as code, or DevOps workflows; building internal developer platforms, operational tooling, or workflow automation; exposure to AI adjacent or data heavy products; startup or high growth engineering environment experience; familiarity with monitoring and platform reliability practices.

• Listed compensation: $180, 000 - $280, 000 yearly.
• National pay notice included in source: base salary range of $120, 000 - $155, 000 USD for this full time position.
• All employees are eligible for equity compensation.
