Hendrick Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram (Hoover) – 1624 Montgomery Hwy, Hoover, Alabama 35216 Summary Transport parts and equipment for the Company. Supervisory Responsibilities None. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Deliver parts and equipment to customers, vendors, and other locations as requested. Pick up parts and equipment from customers, vendors, and other locations as requested. Load and unload parts and equipment to and from the truck. Ensure that customers receive the correct products. Operate the vehicle used to deliver and pick up parts and equipment. Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area. Maintain CSI at or above company standards. Participate in required training. Record all hours worked accurately in the company timekeeping system. Follow Safeguards rules and regulations. Demonstrate the Company’s Core Values. Comply with Company policies and procedures. Observe all Federal, State, Local, and Company safety rules and regulations. Perform any other duties as assigned. Desired Education: GED or High School Diploma Associate Degree Bachelor Degree Master Degree Doctorate Degree Desired Work Experience: Up to 3 years 3–5 years 5+ years Previous driving, delivery, or warehouse experience desired. Certificates and Licenses: Valid Driver’s License Automobile Salesperson License Computer Skills: Basic computer skills needed to utilize the company timekeeping system. Communication Skills: Ability to understand and follow instructions; communicate effectively with customers and company personnel. Attendance Expectations: Position requires regular and predictable attendance. Scheduled shifts may include evening hours, weekends, and some holidays. Physical Demands Regularly required to talk or hear. Frequently required to stand, walk, and sit. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Work includes frequent movement around company premises, outdoor car lot, and in and out of vehicles. Environment Demands Duties performed partially on company premises and partially while in transit to various customer locations. May transport parts in the company‑provided vehicle for several hours at a time. Work includes driving, moving parts, and interaction with customers, vendors, and employees. Verbal and Writing Ability Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos. Math Ability Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide. Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations.
