Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) - Travel Position

Location: Salt Lake City, Utah

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Job Description: The Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for providing care in both the main Emergency Department and the Freestanding Emergency Department (FSED). The nurse will utilize a team-based approach to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver patient care with a focus on timely assessment and intervention.
• Perform necessary procedures including intubation, chest tube insertion, and central line placement.
• Collaborate with a dedicated team that includes Paramedics, EMTs, and Unit Secretaries.
• Utilize Epic for documentation and maintain accurate patient records.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Active RN License in hand at the time of submission.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and either TNCC or ENPC.
• Experience in emergency nursing preferred.
• Ability to multi-task and remain flexible in a dynamic environment.
• Positive attitude and good communication skills are essential.
