Where you come in:

• You lead and inspire a team of software engineers to design, develop, and maintain software solutions to improve the lives of people with diabetes and the medical professionals that serve them.

• You are responsible for overseeing the entire software development lifecycle, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality software products that meet regulatory standards and customer expectations.

• You manage and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including quality assurance professionals, software testers, and regulatory affairs specialists, to ensure compliance with industry regulations.

• You actively participate in strategic planning, providing technical expertise to align software development efforts with Dexcom's long term vision.

• You lead and mentor your team, fostering a culture of continuous learning, innovation, collaboration, and psychological safety.

• You are accountable for project timelines and resource management, identifying and mitigating potential risks, and making informed decisions to keep software development projects on track and within budget.

• You stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory updates related to diabetes management, incorporating relevant advancements into the software development process to maintain the company's competitive edge in the market.

Experience and Education Requirements:

• Typically requires a Bachelor's degree with 8-12 years of industry experience

• Requires a degree in a technical discipline

• 2-5 years of previous management or lead experience
