Float Phlebotomist

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist Float to join our team in Princeton, WV. Work Schedule: Monday‑Friday, scheduled hours vary between 7:30am‑5:00pm and rotating Saturdays. Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely. Process billing information and collect payments when necessary. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications One year or more of phlebotomy experience. Additional Job Standards In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency. Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record with reliable transportation. Must be at least 21 years old. Benefits Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week receive comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, STD/LTD, 401(k), paid time off or flexible time off, tuition reimbursement, and employee stock purchase plan. Employees scheduled less than 20 hours, casual, intern, and temporary employees receive only the 401(k) plan. Employees scheduled 7 on/7 off receive all foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO. Incentives Float Incentive: Additional $1.00 per hour plus mileage reimbursement. Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
