Medical Assistant

We are a 6 bed sleep lab and clinic. We diagnose and treat sleep related breathing disorders. We are in search of an excellent medical assistant to join our team.

Job Summary

• Provides care to patients of all ages and assistance to physicians and advanced practitioners in the Sleep Clinic.

Qualifications

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited program in Medical Assistant Training or equivalent experience required

Experience

• Prefer at least one year experience in a clinical or physician-office setting, emergency room and/or a hospital setting that provides patient care.
• Experience in office clerical activities desirable.

(Above requirements can be met by equivalent combination of education and experience)

Licensure/Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained for duration of employment.
• CMA or RMA preferred.

Compensation/Benefits

• $13.74-$22.44/hr depending on previous work experience.
