Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver therapeutic mindfulness-based interventions, including MBSR, tailored to client needs, focusing on stress reduction, relaxation, and enhanced mental health.

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to accurately identify clients' stressors, challenges, and therapeutic goals, refining treatment plans through mindful practices.

• Guide clients through mindfulness exercises, meditation techniques, and controlled breathing practices to enhance self-awareness and emotional regulation.

• Facilitate engaging group workshops on mindfulness and resilience-building strategies, fostering community and support among participants.

• Incorporate mindfulness strategies into individual therapy sessions, addressing specific mental health issues while promoting client self-efficacy in managing their well-being.

• Collaborate with fellow clinicians and healthcare providers to ensure a well-rounded approach to treatment, sharing best practices and insights on mindfulness techniques.

You will work with diverse clients in outpatient settings, each seeking to manage various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and stress-related disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Must possess current, valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• Experience with integrating mindfulness into therapeutic interventions is highly regarded, enhancing the effectiveness of client engagements.
