OverviewAMERICAN SYSTEMS is an employee-owned federal government contractor supporting national priority programs through our strategic solutions in the areas of Information Technology, Engineering & Analysis, Test & Evaluation, and Training.ResponsibilitiesAs an Aerospace Engineer with AMERICAN SYSTEMS you will have the opportunity to do the following:Perform aerospace engineering in support of flight control system development; aircraft modeling and simulation; analysis of aircraft flight dynamics; and ground and flight test support.Support the design, development, integration, and test of aircraft flight control systems and autopilots.Develop, integrate, and validate models of aircraft flight dynamics and subsystems such as payloads, engines, transmissions, flight control components, and sensors.Support lab, ground, and flight qualification testing of aircraft avionics, sensors, and flight control systems.QualificationsMust have the ability to obtain a Secret clearance after hiring.
