Security Supervisor

Minimum Qualifications Minimum of 18 years of age. Clear a criminal background check. High School Diploma and/or equivalent (GED). Skills & Abilities Strong customer service orientation, exemplifying our Mission Statement that Customer Service is Every Employee's Job. Ability to facilitate progressive change, getting along with other employees, following directions and continually improving. Clear and effective oral and written communication skills. Physical Demands Must be able to see, hear, speak and write clearly in order to communicate with employees and/or other customers. Must be able to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 25 lbs during event evacuation; stair climbing. Ability to sit, twist, turn, bend as required to perform duties within the facility; must be capable of standing for long periods of time. Experience Minimum of three (3) years of professional security experience in a retail, commercial, or public setting. Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory or leadership experience. Education High school diploma or GED required. Additional coursework or certifications in security management, criminal justice, or emergency response preferred. Licensing and Certifications Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification preferred. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Skills and Competencies Strong leadership and team management abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in incident reporting, de-escalation, and conflict resolution. Ability to operate and monitor security systems, CCTV, and access control equipment. Knowledge of emergency procedures, evacuation protocols, and safety regulations. Strong organizational and documentation skills. Ability to make quick, sound decisions under pressure. Physical Requirements Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to perform patrols across large areas, including stairs and parking structures. Capable of responding rapidly to incidents and emergencies. Availability Must have open availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet operational needs and respond to emergencies as required.
