JOB GOAL: To implement an instructional program that will provide high-intensity academic tutoring to students in grades 3-8 in the areas of math and reading through the Virginia Department of Education's (VDOE) ALL-In program. The ALL In program is a comprehensive plan to support Virginia's students in need of academic reinforcement.
QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or GED equivalency is required and must be at least 18 years of
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Ability to navigate online platforms and troubleshoot when
• Demonstrates an understanding of math and English
• Ability to explain concepts in a clear and understandable
• Flexibility and adaptability to adjust tutoring sessions based on students'

PERFORMANCE DUTIES:

1. Teach targeted reading/math interventions to both individual and small groups of students using provided resources.
2. Analyze assessment results from online platforms to customize tutoring plans based on individual student needs.
3. Utilize an adopted course of study, instructional program guidelines, and other materials in planning and developing lesson plans and teaching outlines.
4. Utilize varied teaching methodologies and resources to enhance student understanding that include the use of educational materials, books, software, calculators, and other learning aids.
5. Promote and uphold acceptable levels of student conduct by implementing effective behavior management strategies and techniques, incorporating positive reinforcement and behavior-shaping methods.
6. Collaborate with teachers individually to identify reading/math deficits of students, to set learning goals and targets, and to problem-solve with teachers to develop best practices for continuous academic growth of students in reading/math.
7. Maintain a high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of information.
8. Maintain records of interventions, progress monitoring, and attendance.
9. Participate in required training for ALL In Tutoring.
10. Perform related duties and responsibilities as requested by the Superintendent and/or Principal.
