Responsibilities Position Overview Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is actively seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Controller to join their team in North Carolina. This role is ideal for a finance professional looking to contribute expertise in accounting and payroll on a part-time basis. Conduct reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy and integrity. Review and validate the work of accountants to maintain high standards of financial reporting. Utilize experience with payroll and benefits management, which is beneficial for this role. Assist with process improvement and efficiencies. Manage and oversee financial operations using QuickBooks Online and ADP software. Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial processes and practices. Qualifications Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and ADP. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and management. Prior experience in financial reconciliations and payroll management is preferred. Required Work Hours This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week. Benefits The position offers competitive pay with a range of $45 to $60 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
