In this dynamic role, you will directly advance pipeline projects by expressing, purifying, and characterizing complex multispecific biotherapeutics within a collaborative laboratory environment. location: Worcester, Massachusetts job type: Contract salary: $32.00 - 40.45 per hour work hours: 9 to 5 education: Bachelors responsibilities: Express, purify, and remediate multispecific biologics and antibody fragments using AKTA platforms. Perform routine protein characterization using analytical techniques including SEC, LC/MS, DSF, SDS-PAGE, and endotoxin assays. Utilize automated laboratory workstations (e.g., Hamilton, AssayMap, Kingfisher) to streamline high-throughput discovery workflows. Coordinate sample management, tracking, and aliquoting to ensure timely delivery of high-quality materials to cross-functional teams. Document experimental methods and data precisely in electronic laboratory notebooks and present results to project stakeholders. qualifications: Required: Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biochemistry, or related field with 2+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 0+ years of experience. Demonstrated hands-on experience in protein/biologics expression, purification, and characterization. Strong working knowledge of analytical characterization techniques (e.g., SEC, MS, DSF). Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and communication skills in a fast-paced team environment. Preferred: Direct experience with multispecific biotherapeutics and antibody design. Hands-on experience operating laboratory automation platforms and sequence analysis software (Vector NTI, Geneious, or Genedata).
