What we're looking for:
We're seeking a motivated, team-oriented candidate with strong communication and multitasking skills. Ideally, you have 612 months of experience in a kennel or technician assistant role but we're also open to training the right person with a great attitude and willingness to learn.
What you'll do:
Veterinary Technician Assistants are vital to the success of our team. You'll work closely with our technicians, doctors, and clients, helping to ensure top-notch care for our patients and seamless service for their families.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with patient exams, treatments, and restraint
- Running in-house lab tests and filling prescriptions
- Supporting hospitalized patient care
- Helping with digital radiographs
- Maintaining clean and organized workspaces
- Supporting front desk and clerical duties as needed
- Providing excellent client education and service
- Be an advocate for your patients and a supportive resource for your teammates
