Digital Marketing Manager - Influencer, Social, PR & Experiential

DIGITAL MARKETING MANAGER — INFLUENCER, SOCIAL, PR & EXPERIENTIAL Hollywood Branded | Redondo Beach, CA (Hybrid) Who We Are Hollywood Branded is not a traditional agency. What This Role Is This is an account lead role for someone who thinks in ecosystems, not tactics. You see influencer, PR, social, and experiential as one interconnected campaign engine, and you know how to build it, pitch it to clients, and execute it from concept through recap. You will own the full digital and cultural marketing function across a roster of brand clients. And this role has a second mandate that is equally important: helping Hollywood Branded grow its own digital presence, revenue streams, and audience. We have built something real, a podcast, 30,000+ monthly blog readers, a growing library of sellable online courses, and a social presence with more potential than it is currently realizing. You will help us unlock it. You will manage a team. You will be in front of clients. You will contribute to new business. You will lead strategy on both the client side and the agency side. If you've only ever been the client, this role is not the right fit. If you need a clearly defined lane, this role is not the right fit. What You'll Own Influencer and Social—Client Campaigns Serve as primary account lead on influencer and digital campaigns, owning the client relationship, the strategy, and the results. Lead influencer programs end-to-end: direct talent sourcing, outreach, individual contract negotiation (not platform‑mediated), redlines, briefing, content approvals, and performance tracking. Drive TikTok Shop strategy and execution: creator collaborations, product seeding, content optimization, and results reporting. Oversee paid social campaigns including boosted posts, whitelisting, custom audience targeting, and cross‑platform ad strategy. Own campaign budgets: pacing, allocation, ROI tracking, and client‑facing financial reporting. Manage and develop internal team members. You lead, they execute, and you are accountable for their output. Earned and Paid PR Integration Lead and oversee PR outreach as an integrated part of every campaign. You don't need to be a publicist, but you need to understand how PR works, know how to use the tools, and be comfortable doing outreach yourself when needed. Work with our team using Cision and Critical Mention to build media lists, monitor coverage, and track results. Activate our full paid PR program suite, including guaranteed placements, syndicated news, gift guides, listicles, feature stories, co‑op media tours, ABC News segments, celebrity gifting, and digital and programmatic media programs, and know how to build the right mix for each client. Understand how to pitch a story angle to a journalist and why a particular campaign moment has press value. Oversee the team executing day‑to‑day outreach while contributing to strategy and ensuring PR amplification is built into every campaign plan from the start, not bolted on at the end. Experiential and Event‑Driven Ideation Bring genuine creative thinking to the table. You can develop the activation concept, the influencer moment, the PR hook, and the social content strategy simultaneously. Develop experiential concepts that bring brand campaigns to life, including pop‑ups, events, creator experiences, brand integrations, and immersive moments. Think through how a brand shows up at a cultural moment, a premiere, a festival, a product launch, and build the full integrated plan around it. Translate creative ideas into executable briefs and workbacks without losing the vision. Partner with clients on ideation, not just execution. You are in the strategy conversation from the start. Client Leadership and New Business Build and present campaign strategies, creative concepts, and performance recaps directly to clients, confidently, clearly, and in a way that earns trust and repeat business. Proactively bring new ideas to clients before they ask. You are always thinking about what is next for their brand. Contribute to new business pitches and proposals. You understand how to package and present our capabilities in a way that closes deals. Serve as a strategic partner, not a vendor executing a scope. Hollywood Branded Internal Digital Growth Hollywood Branded has built significant owned assets over 18 years, including a blog with 30,000+ monthly readers, a podcast, an online education platform with a growing library of sellable courses at learn.hollywoodbranded.com, and social channels with real audience potential. Right now, these assets are underleveraged. You will help change that. You do not need to personally execute every piece of this work. You need to be able to think strategically about it, lead the people doing it, generate the ideas that move it forward, and hold the output accountable to results. Specifically, this includes Content and SEO Strategy Lead the development and ongoing optimization of pillar pages and blog content that drives organic search traffic, builds authority, and generates inbound leads for the agency. Understand how SEO and content strategy work together, including keyword architecture, internal linking, content clusters, and how to turn existing content into a compounding traffic engine. Oversee the team producing blog content and ensure it is being written, optimized, and published with a clear strategy behind it, not just volume for volume's sake. Identify content gaps and opportunities across the HB blog, podcast, and social channels and build a plan to close them. LearnWorlds and Education Monetization Develop and execute a strategy to grow sales of Hollywood Branded's online courses at learn.hollywoodbranded.com. Understand how to market a digital education product, including email sequences, paid social, organic content, affiliate or partner promotion, and audience segmentation. Work with leadership to identify which courses have the strongest market demand, how to price and package them, and how to build promotional campaigns that drive enrollment. Think beyond individual course sales. Bundles, subscriptions, certifications, and brand partnerships tied to our education content are all on the table. Podcast Growth, Amplification, and Stacy's Thought Leadership Develop a strategy to grow Hollywood Branded's podcast audience across platforms. Turn podcast content into repurposed social, blog, and short‑form video content that extends reach and drives new listeners. Identify partnership, sponsorship, and cross‑promotion opportunities that monetize the podcast and build its profile within the marketing and entertainment industry. A core part of this responsibility is actively booking Stacy Jones, our Founder and CEO, on external podcasts, panels, and speaking opportunities as a thought leader in pop culture marketing, brand partnerships, and entertainment strategy. This means building and maintaining a target list of relevant podcasts and platforms, crafting compelling pitch angles, managing outreach and follow‑through, and tracking placements. Stacy's visibility is a direct driver of agency credibility and inbound business. Growing it is a real deliverable, not a nice‑to‑have. Agency Paid Social and Ad Campaigns Build and manage paid social campaigns for Hollywood Branded itself, using our existing content, thought leadership, and education assets as the creative foundation. Know how to build ad campaigns that drive specific outcomes including course sales, lead generation, newsletter growth, event registrations, and brand awareness within our target client verticals. Use our own social content strategically, not just posting for the sake of posting, but building a paid amplification strategy that turns organic content into measurable pipeline. Agency Social Media Presence Lead the strategy for Hollywood Branded's own social media channels, including what we post, how often, what the content pillars are, and how we measure whether it's working. Think about our social presence the way you would a client's: audience first, content second, distribution third, measurement always. Identify influencer and creator partnership opportunities that build HB's profile and reach within the brand marketing and entertainment space. What You Need to Have 5+ years in influencer marketing, digital media, or integrated marketing, with meaningful time on the agency side managing external brand clients. Proven direct influencer contract negotiation, meaning individual talent deals with real rate negotiation and contract redlines, not just marketplace platform tools. Real client management experience where you have owned the relationship and been accountable for outcomes, not just deliverables. Working knowledge of earned and paid PR as part of an integrated campaign, including experience with media placement tools like Cision. Experience with SEO and content strategy, including how pillar pages, keyword architecture, and blog content work together to drive traffic and leads. Experience marketing a digital product, education program, or subscription. Experience building and running paid social campaigns with measurable outcomes. Experience concepting and executing experiential or event‑driven campaigns. Confidence presenting creative strategy and performance to senior brand decision‑makers. Ability to manage multiple clients and campaigns simultaneously. Experience managing and developing junior team members. Comfort with Monday.com, HubSpot, Cision, and Critical Mention as daily working tools. TikTok Shop experience strongly preferred. Genuine Pop culture fluency! What Will Screen You Out Only brand‑side or in‑house experience with no agency client management. Influencer experience limited to managed marketplace platforms with no direct deal negotiation. Inability to bring creative ideas to the table without being handed a fully formed brief. No understanding of SEO, content strategy, or how to market a digital product. Non familiarity in brand building campaigns and PR. Discomfort in client‑facing communication and presentations. Experience limited to a single brand, category, or channel. No interest in contributing to the agency's own growth, content, and brand presence. What We Expect From Everyone Here Hollywood Branded runs on a learn, do, teach culture. Every person on the team is expected to keep growing their knowledge, apply what they learn, and share it with others. For this role specifically that includes contributing a blog post to our Learn.HollywoodBranded platform at minimum every two months, and ideally more frequently given your expertise. We have 30,000+ monthly readers and a growing content library. Your knowledge and perspective are part of what we offer the market. We also expect ongoing self‑driven education outside of agency hours. Platform changes, new tools, industry trends, emerging formats: staying current is not optional in this role. It is part of the job. Compensation and Benefits Transparent salary schedule. Growth is tied to demonstrated capability, not negotiation. Our compensation ladder is clear, consistent, and shared with the full team. Salary reviewed at end of 4‑month probationary period based on demonstrated performance. Hybrid schedule in Redondo Beach, CA: 4 days in‑office during probation, 3 days thereafter. Flexible PTO after probationary period with sick time available from day one. Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance allowance, eligible after 2 full calendar months. 401(k) with up to 3% match after one year of employment.
