Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab travel position in Charleston, SC, requiring a minimum of 1 year of Cath Lab experience and on-call availability.

Details

• Located in a 313-bed Level II Trauma Center and Chest Pain Center-accredited hospital in Charleston, SC
• Assignment in the Cardiac Cath Lab unit with 2 labs and approximately 10 cases per day
• Procedures performed include LHC, PCI, TAVR, PPM, Impella, and IABP
• Equipment used includes GE X-ray
• Documentation systems used: Maclab and Meditech
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• On-call requirements of 7–9 call days per month, including at least 1 weekend
• Expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital staff
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active RN license — SC or Compact state license required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Cath Lab RN experience required
• BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start)
• Knowledge of emergency medications required
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• One professional reference required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible

• Scrubs are provided by the facility
• The facility is a Joint Commission-accredited Stroke Center and holds Chest Pain Center accreditation from the American College of Cardiology
