Job Description As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver in Laurel, MS , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Position Type Full Time Pay Rate $12.00 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeMon11:00 PM - 07:00 AMTue11:00 PM - 07:00 AMFri11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSat11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing and industrial facilities, production areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, observing visitor and contractor activity, and documenting entries and exits in accordance with site procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and completing required reports. Observe and report potential hazards, equipment concerns, and policy violations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision. Minimum Requirements A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
