Work Environment
In this remote position, you will have the flexibility to conduct therapy sessions from the comfort of your home while remaining an integral part of our supportive team culture. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct initial assessments to evaluate clients' mental health conditions and treatment needs.
- Develop personalized therapy plans using evidence-based approaches tailored to individual client needs.
- Facilitate regular therapy sessions (both individual and group) to provide continuous support and guidance.
- Equip clients with coping strategies and resources to effectively manage their symptoms and challenges.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Document therapy progress and maintain accurate EHR records to comply with best practices and legal standards.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Your work will primarily involve helping adults and adolescents dealing with a variety of mental health issues, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, substance abuse, and eating disorders. By employing culturally responsive methods, you will create an environment that fosters openness and trust, allowing for more effective therapeutic relationships.
Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
- A minimum of four years of direct clinical experience in a mental health setting.
- Strong knowledge of mental health disorders and proficiency in deploying evidence-based therapeutic methods.
- Demonstrated ability to provide both individual and group therapy in an inclusive and culturally aware manner.
- Excellent crisis intervention skills, with the ability to navigate intense clinical situations calmly.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for building rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Proficient in using electronic health record systems and other relevant technology in a clinical context.
- A commitment to upholding professional ethical standards, maintaining confidentiality, and managing professional boundaries.
Preferred Experience
- Experience dealing with high acuity cases and crisis management.
- Familiarity with teletherapy practices and technology platforms used in remote therapy settings.
- Previous involvement in collaborative care models within a multidisciplinary team environment.
Compensation and Benefits
The annual salary range for this position is competitive, offering between $70,000 and $100,000 based on experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, our organization provides:
