Job Responsibilities

• Craft Custom Treatment Plans: Assess patients' requirements and devise personalized therapy strategies to empower them in reaching their functional milestones
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based interventions to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily activities
• Collaborate with a Diverse Team: Work closely with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, medical professionals, and nursing staff to provide all-encompassing, whole-person care
• Guide Patients and Their Families: Instruct patients and caregivers on therapeutic methods to support continuous advancement at home
• Evaluate and Document Progress: Monitor clinical developments and refine treatments as necessary, ensuring patients remain on a successful path

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university
• Opportunities for further education and post-graduate certifications are encouraged and available

Certifications

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required
