Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Proven experience as a Special Education Teacher or in a similar role working with students who have individualized needs

• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic academic setting

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored instruction to students with various disabilities, supporting academic, behavioral, and social development
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) according to student needs and state guidelines
• Assess student progress and adapt instructional materials and strategies as needed
• Work collaboratively with general education teachers and support staff to ensure inclusive learning experiences
• Engage and communicate regularly with parents and caregivers regarding student achievement and challenges
• Foster a safe, positive, and effective classroom environment that encourages growth and learning
