How you'll make an impact in this role

• Manage pharmacy inventory by unpacking wholesale deliveries, verifying packing slips against orders, restocking shelves, and monitoring expiration dates to ensure optimal stock levels.
• Deliver medications and supplies directly to nursing units, decentralized automated dispensing cabinets, and various hospital departments in a timely and secure manner.
• Perform essential administrative duties including answering phone calls, routing clinical inquiries to pharmacists, operating the point-of-sale system, and maintaining clean, organized pharmacy workspaces.
• Process insurance claims and billing for outpatient or discharge prescriptions, troubleshooting basic coverage rejections and collecting copays when necessary.

What minimum requirements you'll need

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
