Director, Product Management, Data Governance

Salary: $30,000 - 55,000 per year Requirements:

• 10+ years of product management experience, including 3+ years leading product managers or equivalent team leadership at Group Product Manager or Director level.
• Proven ability to own multi-year product visions and roadmaps, translating strategy into execution across multiple teams.
• Track record of building B2B products for complex enterprise customers, including managing relationships with C-suite stakeholders.
• Deep technical understanding of cloud and data infrastructure, with sound judgment across enterprise-scale performance, reliability, security, and cost tradeoffs.
• Practical familiarity with modern data platform patterns, including warehouse and lakehouse concepts, distributed systems, metadata-driven governance, and large-scale data movement and integration.
• Experience modernizing SaaS platforms, including multi-tenant and cloud-native technologies, and delivering scalable platform capabilities.
• Demonstrated success incorporating AI into product experiences to automate workflows, improve discoverability and usability, and create new value.
• Strong experience delivering data visualization in B2B platforms, including dashboards, usage and cost analytics, data quality views, lineage analysis, and administrator reporting.
• Experience integrating with or designing alongside BI and analytics ecosystems, including metadata or lineage integrations and governed self-service experiences.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to explain complex platform topics to executives and customers.
• Strong analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills, including using product analytics and market signals to prioritize.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, highly transformational environment.
• Knowledge of institutional financial services is preferred, ideally including buy-side and asset management workflows.

• Set the global vision and strategy for Data & Analytics data and infrastructure capabilities, aligned with client needs, industry trends, and firm-wide innovation.
• Turn customer needs and market opportunities into product standards, including experience principles, design patterns, service tiers, reliability and latency targets, and governance baselines.
• Partner with engineering, design, security, SRE, and go-to-market teams to develop and execute a roadmap with measurable value, balancing platform foundations with customer outcomes.
• Lead product managers, product owners, and specialists by setting goals, coaching execution, and ensuring high-quality launches and adoption.
• Monitor adoption, platform usage, telemetry, and client feedback to drive continuous improvement.
• Advance and commercialize channel capabilities, including through emerging technologies such as generative AI and data monetization strategies.
