CDL A Driver

Compensation: $22 - $25 hourly

Responsibilities: Transport construction materials safely and efficiently to various project sites across the Sarasota-Bradenton-Venice area.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicles safety and compliance with company standards.
Collaborate with the logistics team to optimize delivery schedules and routes, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents, to support operational transparency.
Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies, promoting a culture of safety and responsibility on the road.
Communicate effectively with site managers and team members to coordinate unloading and loading activities.
Perform routine maintenance checks and report any vehicle issues promptly to the maintenance team for timely resolution.

Qualifications: Experience in operating tractor-trailers, with a clean driving record, ensuring safety and reliability on the road.
Ability to conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintaining vehicle safety and compliance.
Proven track record of collaborating effectively with logistics teams to optimize delivery schedules and routes.
Strong communication skills to coordinate efficiently with site managers and team members during loading and unloading activities.
Familiarity with maintaining accurate delivery records, including mileage and fuel consumption, to support operational transparency.
Commitment to adhering to all traffic laws and company policies, promoting a culture of safety and responsibility.
Ability to perform routine maintenance checks and report vehicle issues promptly, ensuring timely resolution and minimal downtime.
