Senior Mechanical Engineer, Hardware Simulation

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute FEA models for structural performance, stress, and durability analysis of robotic assemblies
• Perform static, dynamic, thermal, and vibration analyses on complex mechanisms and electromechanical systems
• Correlate simulation results with physical test data and improve model accuracy
• Collaborate with design, electrical, controls, and manufacturing teams on device development
• Prepare simulation reports and engineering documentation for medical device regulatory compliance

Requirements

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 2+ years experience as Senior Mechanical Engineer or Hardware Simulation role
• Proficiency with ANSYS and Abaqus simulation software
• Experience with vibration analysis, modal analysis, and dynamic testing
• Knowledge of mechanical components: motors, gears, lead screws, bearings, linear guides
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and materials selection
• Experience with ASME Y14.5-2009 dimensioning and tolerancing standards

Compensation: $165,000 - $185,000
