Help improve next-generation AI by documenting authentic finance and data-analysis workflows. You will independently perform and capture real, multi-step work in spreadsheet and data warehouse tools, producing accurate, secure documentation that shows how finance professionals pull data, reconcile results, build models, report findings, and analyze information. Key Responsibilities
- Design and document detailed finance and data-analysis workflows based on real-world tasks, including data pulls, reconciliations, model building, reporting, and analysis.
- Execute each workflow independently using tools such as Snowflake and Excel or Google Sheets, recording each step, decision, input, and output.
- Incorporate relevant collaboration practices, such as Slack threads for cross-functional coordination and shared documents for distribution and feedback.
- Create complete scenario documentation in the internal annotation platform, including step-by-step instructions, rationale, formulas, SQL queries, screenshots, and illustrative results.
- Identify ambiguous or edge-case scenarios, flag them for the project team, and incorporate feedback to improve accuracy and coverage.
- Maintain high standards for data security and privacy throughout workflow execution and documentation.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in FP&A, accounting, financial analysis, or data analytics.
- Practical experience with advanced spreadsheets and data warehousing tools, such as Snowflake.
- Ability to write reliable SQL queries for reporting, reconciliation, and ad hoc analysis.
- Strong accuracy, attention to detail, and reliability when producing financial workflows and documentation.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex processes to annotators without prior familiarity.
- Familiarity with collaboration tools such as Slack and Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace in finance or data workflows.
- Experience with financial modeling, forecasting, or BI dashboards, including Looker, Tableau, or Power BI, is a plus.
- Experience with data annotation, process documentation, or quality assurance is an advantage.
- Remote contract engagement with flexible, self-directed participation and defined project deliverables.
- No prior AI experience is required; finance and data-analysis expertise is the primary qualification.
$14 to $36 per hour.
