What You’ll Do People Leadership Lead a team of leasing agents and maintenance professionals, ensuring a highly engaged team that provides a great experience for residents. Process community staff payroll. Financial Responsibility Ensure collection of all monies due to the community (i.e., rent) and deposit them. Process community invoices for payment. Purchase and maintain adequate supplies for the community. Community and Resident Focus Maintain acceptable occupancy levels (minimum 98%). Maintain positive relationships with the community owner(s) and its residents. Review rental applications for approval. Operational Excellence Complete move‑out paperwork according to governing regulations. Perform unit move‑out, annual, and housekeeping inspections promptly. Audit all resident files and ensure they are complete and correct prior to forwarding to supervisor for review/approval. Complete reports required by government agencies, administrators, or the company on time. Maintain the community to company standards. Perform other related duties as assigned. What We’re Looking For Experience: 1+ year as a residential property manager with HUD/Section 8 experience a big plus, or 3+ years in a general manager or similar role with people leadership and process management experience. Education: High school diploma; associate’s degree a big plus. Certifications such as COS, LIHTC, HCCP, AHM are a plus – we provide training. Dependability: Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic. Resident focus: A commitment to providing exceptional service to residents. Operational excellence: Deadline‑driven with keen eye for detail, compliance and quality.
