As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help deter security-related incidents, manage access control activities, and provide exceptional customer service. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.26 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat11:00 AM - 09:00 PMSun11:00 AM - 09:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns. Monitor access to assigned areas, verify visitor and contractor credentials as directed, and maintain accurate visitor, incident, and patrol documentation. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and communicating with appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders. Assist with maintaining an orderly environment by observing and reporting security-related concerns, supporting site access policies, and providing directions or assistance to visitors as needed. Minimum Requirements: At least 6 months of security-related experience is required. CPR certification is preferred. A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred.i> Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
