Read on to learn more about an exciting opportunity to join our team.Job Title – Director, Mass TortsImpact You’ll Make· Lead complex client engagements within Stout’s Disputes, Claims, and Investigations group, with a focus on mass tort claims.· Provide value-added consulting services through high-quality economic damages analyses, claims analysis, and related data analysis.· Strengthen client relationships, cultivate new business opportunities, and support the continued growth of the practice.· Develop team members technically and professionally while enhancing practice management processes and delivery standards.What You’ll Do· Oversee and perform key client engagements, including economic damages calculations and mass tort-related analyses.· Manage client relationships and serve in an engagement-management role across multiple matters.· Prepare and/or review written reports, exhibits, demonstratives, and other client deliverables.· Lead business development efforts, including expanding existing relationships and cultivating new ones.· Deliver marketing and technical presentations to clients, prospects, and industry audiences.· Develop internal systems and processes to improve work product delivery, staff development, and practice efficiency.· Pursue continued professional advancement through designations, training, and continuing education.What You Bring· Minimum of 10+ years of consulting experience in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field.· Experience at a professional services firm preferred.· 4-year degree required; advanced degree preferred.· Professional designations welcome, including CPA, CFA, ASA, CMA, CIRA, CTP, and/or CFE.· Experience and expertise in mass tort claims required; related insurance analysis experience is a plus.· Ability to critically analyze financial statements, claims data, and other financial documents.· Strong leadership, client-management, communication, and critical-thinking skills.How You’ll Thrive· Demonstrate professional ethics, integrity, and executive presence while living Stout’s core values.· Apply logical thinking and creative problem-solving to complex client matters.· Critique alternative arguments and opinions with confidence and objectivity.· Adapt effectively to changing client-imposed deadlines and engagement priorities.· Develop others through coaching, feedback, and technical guidance.· Deliver Relentless Excellence in client service, team leadership, and work product quality.Why Stout?At Stout, we offer a comprehensive Total Rewards program with competitive compensation, benefits, and wellness options tailored to support employees at every stage of life.We foster a culture of inclusion and respect, embracing diverse perspectives and experiences to drive innovation and success. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.A reasonable estimate of the current range is $145,000.00 - $300,000.00 Annual. This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
