Operations Research Analyst (Intermediate) Job Category : Air Traffic Full-Time Hybrid Locations Showing 1 location Washington, DC - Headquarters 395 E St SW Washington, DC 20024, USA Washington, DC - Headquarters 395 E St SW Washington, DC 20024, USA Analyze Traffic Management Initiatives, including Ground Delay Programs, Ground Stops, and reroute activity. Conduct systemic analysis of National Airspace System (NAS) operational performance metrics. Develop and deliver dashboards using Tableau, Power BI, or similar analytics platforms. Provide Performance Analysis reports Simulation Model Evaluation and Improvement Evaluate simulation models to address advanced concepts and future procedural changes. Assess simulation models and recommend improvements to flexibility, ease of use, simulation logic, sensitivity, animation capability, and graphical user interfaces. Airfield Digitization and Surface Surveillance Data Develop new and maintain legacy airfield digitization techniques. Develop processes to ingest surface surveillance data, including ADS-B, ASD-X, and future data sources. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree + 3 years of relevant experience. Degree in Engineering, math, and science degrees are required. Degree requirement can be replaced with a total of 9 years of relevant experience. 3 years of relevant experience in air traffic management and air traffic analysis tools Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Tableau and Power BI Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and the Microsoft Office suite No visa sponsorship.
