Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide direct patient care in a 20-bed medical/surgical telemetry unit within a critical access environment. This role involves working in a dynamic healthcare setting, focusing on delivering high-quality nursing care to ensure patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care, assessing patient needs and responses to treatment.
• Implement nursing interventions based on patient care plans.
• Monitor and document patient progress and report changes to the healthcare team.
• Educate patients and their families on health conditions and self-care practices.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and adjust care plans as needed.

Qualifications

• Current nursing license and certification as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Completion of required health screenings and immunizations, including:
  
  
  • MMR
  • Varicella
  • Tdap
  • Hepatitis B
  • Influenza Vaccine
  • Fit Test
  • PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot)
• Completion of a physical/health statement.
• Successful completion of a skills checklist and competency exam.
• Background check and other professional verifications as required.
