Commercial Door TechnicianWe are seeking a skilled and reliable Commercial Door Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for the installation, service, and repair of commercial overhead doors, roll-up doors, operators, and related equipment. The ideal candidate will have mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and a strong commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.Job Type: Full Time, On-siteResponsibilities for the Commercial Door Technician:Install, maintain, and repair commercial garage doors, rolling steel doors, fire-rated doors, and related hardware.Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and structural issues to ensure proper operation and compliance with safety standards.Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and adjustments on door systems and operators.Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work orders.Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently.Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients regarding work performed, recommendations, and safety requirements.Maintain accurate service records, parts usage, and documentation of completed work.Adhere to company safety protocols, OSHA standards, and manufacturer guidelines.Requirements of the Commercial Door Technician:2+ years of experience in commercial door installation, service, or related trades preferred.Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.Willingness to work overtime, on-call shifts, or emergency service as needed.Physical ability to lift 75+ lbs, climb ladders, and work at heights.Knowledge of welding, electrical wiring, or construction is a plus.All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, age, color, sex (including pregnancy), religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, military status, genetic information, or any other status protected by applicable laws or regulations.
