Service Supervisor

Description Description Bill's Distributing, Ltd. is an industry leader in beverage distribution. We are a family owned and operated company since 1954 and we are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Service Supervisor. Theperson in this position assists in the training and development of service employees, and to provide relief coverage of delivery routes as needed. Essential Job Functions: • Ride with Service reps and evaluate performance and routing • Complete daily report of service rep's day • Train new service reps on routes • Assist with training / preparing new service reps for obtaining CDL • Run routes as needed in the case of employee absences • Assist with yearly and daily (when needed) routing • Provide input to Service Managers on service rep performance for annual reviews • Recommend changes to routes and processes to improve safety and efficiencies • Participate in the interview and screening process of service candidates • Efficiently deliver product to customers on assigned routes • Rotates all product deliveries, FIFO, ensuring the proper quality standards • Understands and adheres to all BDL product codes • Builds exciting and creative displays using all BDL brands per supplier agreements • Understands and adheres to all product quality policies and procedures • Transports and handles all BDL products with care, avoiding damage to product as much as possible • Edits and prints invoices using tablet and handheld printer • Performs proper check in/out procedure during daily route, including properly completed load sheet information • Maintains a professional relationship with customers and co-workers • Conducts business in a safe and courteous manner • Professionally represents the company at all times, on and off duty • Promotes the responsible consumption of all BDL products • Delivers "hot shots", as assigned • Maintains appropriate uniform and personal appearance standards • Maintains appearance of Company vehicles, inside and outside • Works all required shifts as scheduled, including weekends and holidays • Performs other duties, as assigned Requirements • High School diploma or equivalent required • Must possess a valid Class A CDL (or the ability to obtain a CDL), and have a good driving record • Minimum 3 years of experience as a routed Service Representative Necessary Skills and Abilities • Must have good communication and basic math skills • Maintains current knowledge of entire BDL brand portfolio • Basic computer skills • Good interpersonal communication skills Physical Requirements • Able to handle the physical requirements of lifting various case and keg stock up to 170 pounds Working Conditions/Environment • Drives or rides as passenger in tractor/trailer to deliver product in various weather conditions • Performs work at retailers including occasional work in coolers • Uses 2 wheeled carts and forklift to unload and/or move product • Uses tablet and portable printer to edit and print customer invoices • Communicates during shift with company staff or retailers using personal cell phone • May be required to work extended hours We Offer: Full Time, Tuesday - Friday (there may be occasional Mondays) Salary starts at $65,000-$70,000, depending on experience Comprehensive benefits package: Medical, Dental, Vision, STD, LTD, Life, PTO and a 401(k) with a 5% company match Product Discounts Growth opportunities Bill's Distributing is an Equal Opportunity Employer
