Led by our staff of RCDDs, RF and wireless engineers, and network and systems engineers; our technology practices include Cellular and First Responder Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS/ERRCS), Network Infrastructure (LAN/WAN), Enterprise and Guest Wi-Fi (WLAN), Electronic Security Systems (ACS/CCTV), Audio-Visual, Overhead Paging & Intercom Systems, and construction of Low Voltage and Structured Cabling Systems including copper, fiber optic (including Air‑Blown Fiber), and underground (outside plant) cable. Our California, Nevada, and public utility communications installers and technicians are represented by the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW). The Technician III is a senior‑level field technician responsible for leading and executing complex low‑voltage installations, testing, troubleshooting, and system commissioning. This role serves as the on‑site lead, coordinating daily with Technicians, Contractors, Subcontractors, Project Managers (PMs), and Clients to ensure successful project delivery. The Technician III is expected to demonstrate advanced technical expertise, uphold T&D Communications’ quality standards, and support the training and development of junior technicians. Requirements Experience as a Low Voltage / Data Cable Technician. Experience leading and managing small crews of 2-8 technicians. Strong background in installing and troubleshooting structured cabling systems in retail environments. Able to meet the physical requirements of the job. Flexible and willing to work on‑call, day, night, or weekend shifts as the jobs require. Strong knowledge of industry standards (BICSI, NEC, TIA/EIA). Please list certifications if any. Industry‑specific certifications (BICSI, Systimax, Panduit, Belden, Corning) Ability to read and comprehend blueprints and site maps. Experience working with Copper and Fiber. Ability to operate a BOOM or scissor lift, and ability to work at heights of 40 plus feet. Reliable transportation. Must have knowledge of cabling infrastructure. Excellent customer relationship and communication skills with Project Managers; verbal and written. Highly proficient with the use of email, spreadsheets, and the ability to learn internal systems. Experience with Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Word, etc. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; no DUI or DWI in the last three years. #J-18808-Ljbffr
