About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director of Human Resources to lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive HR strategy that is in line with the institution's mission and strategic priorities. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of workforce and talent management, including organizational design, performance management, and the continuous modernization of HR practices. This role requires a leader who can ensure a high-performing, data-informed, and mission-driven workforce, with a particular focus on attracting, retaining, and advancing a diverse and highly qualified talent pool. The Executive Director will also provide strategic oversight of compensation, benefits, and total rewards, and will be a key partner in fostering a positive workplace culture and employee engagement. Applicants for the Executive Director position must have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 6 years' professional experience in HR, business management, or a related field. The ability to communicate in American Sign Language is a requirement. Preferred qualifications include HR certification and experience in a higher education setting. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical, communication, and facilitation skills, and the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders. Responsibilities also include leading the HR team, managing the departmental budget, and ensuring compliance with employment laws. The role demands a strategic thinker who can provide high-level advice on HR issues and is committed to the values of the institution, including a dedication to the professional advancement of Deaf and hard of hearing individuals.
