Key Responsibilities\nIn your role as a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will be responsible for:

- Conducting comprehensive assessments and evaluations to develop tailored therapeutic strategies for clients. \n
- Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, families, and groups while addressing various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. \n
- Implementing a range of therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy, to meet unique client needs. \n
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and case managers, to ensure comprehensive client care and continuity of services. \n
- Maintaining accurate clinical records and documentation while adhering to all legal and ethical standards. \n
- Engaging in ongoing professional development through workshops, training, and peer consultations to stay updated on the latest mental health research and best practices. \n
Our clientele mainly consists of individuals and families who have limited access to mental health services, often from diverse backgrounds and facing varying degrees of socioeconomic challenges. Your role will be pivotal in providing compassionate care to these underserved populations, helping them navigate their mental health journeys.
Qualifications\nTo excel in this position, candidates should possess:

- A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field. \n
- An active and unrestricted license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Florida. \n
- At least two years of counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting. \n
- A thorough understanding of legal and ethical guidelines pertinent to counseling practices. \n
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to establish rapport with diverse clients. \n
- A demonstrated ability to work effectively within a healthcare team. \n
