About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President, Accounting & Controller to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be a key player in driving the company's growth and operational improvements, with a focus on overseeing all accounting operations. This includes billing, A/R, A/P, GL, payroll, fixed assets, and revenue recognition. The role demands a highly motivated individual with a proactive approach to analyzing financial performance and addressing any potential weaknesses. The VP, Accounting & Controller will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, compliance, and will lead a team of accounting professionals to establish and reinforce internal controls. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making is also a critical aspect of the position. Applicants for the VP, Accounting & Controller role at the company should have a CPA designation and a minimum of 10 years' progressive accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity. Proficiency in financial software systems, particularly NetSuite, and advanced Excel skills are required. The ideal candidate will be adept at problem-solving, take ownership of outcomes, and have a collaborative, low-ego approach to work. Experience in e-commerce or technology-related industries is a plus.
