Maintenance Planner

Location: Vanceburg, KY Type: Direct Hire Compensation: $58,240.00 Work Model: Onsite – onsite

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed job plans, estimate labor hours, and identify required permits or specialized tooling for each task.
• Maintain and update work order records within a CMMS, prioritizing tasks based on operational impact.
• Verify parts availability and coordinate with purchasing to secure materials in advance of scheduled work.
• Act as liaison between production, maintenance staff, and external contractors to align repair timing with output goals.
• Develop and refine preventive inspection schedules to identify equipment wear before failures occur.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in maintenance planning, reliability engineering, or a skilled industrial trade.
• Solid knowledge of mechanical/electrical systems, safety procedures (including Lockout/Tagout), and common failure modes.
• Proficiency with CMMS platforms for asset and work order tracking.
• Capable of managing competing priorities, maintaining a work backlog, and documenting procedures clearly.
