Medical Office Receptionist – Reno ENT Specialists

Reno ENT Specialists is seeking a dependable, friendly, and motivated Administrative Assistant to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in healthcare administration while working in a supportive, fast-paced specialty practice.

This is a phone-intensive position. Answering and managing a high volume of incoming patient calls will be the primary responsibility of this role. Applicants should be comfortable spending a significant portion of their day on the phone assisting patients, scheduling appointments, and coordinating care.

Position Highlights

• Consistent schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM and Friday, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
• Once per month, employees rotate a full Friday shift (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) so everyone enjoys short Fridays most weeks
• No evenings or weekends

Responsibilities

• Answer and manage a high volume of incoming patient calls throughout the day
• Schedule appointments and assist with patient registration
• Provide excellent customer service and assist patients with questions regarding appointments and office procedures
• Support patient check-in and check-out processes as needed
• Verify and update patient information
• Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record system
• Support daily front office operations and administrative tasks
• Work collaboratively with physicians, clinical staff, and fellow team members

• Prior medical office experience is preferred but not required
