As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide professional customer service and clear communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon03:00 PM - 11:00 PMTue03:00 PM - 11:00 PMWed03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSat07:00 AM - 03:00 PMSun07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at government facilities. Respond to incidents, public inquiries, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of government buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns. Monitor access points and observe pedestrian and vehicle activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, helping to deter unauthorized access. Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and daily activities while maintaining professional communication with site personnel and the public. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
