About the Position

Primary Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician (MD/DO)

Location: New Jersey

Schedule: Ongoing per diem day shifts

Openings: 1

Position Overview

• Outpatient primary care, acute care, and wellness visits for employees and eligible family members
• Patient population: ages 2 and older
• Typical productivity: up to 3 patients per hour
• Focus areas include wellness and prevention, acute episodic care, and chronic conditions
• Workers’ Comp visits and occupational health services are included (no pain management)

Clinical Scope (may include)

• Work-related injury evaluation and treatment, including fit-for-duty / return-to-work determinations
• Pre-employment physicals
• Drug and alcohol testing
• Suturing / laceration repair
• Splinting or minor fracture care
• Occupational testing (audiometry, spirometry, respirator clearance)

Required Qualifications

• Active New Jersey license
• DEA: required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience
• Strong background in walk-in style health centers and pediatrics
• Physicians (MD/DO): Board Certified or Board Eligible
• Nurse Practitioners: Nationally Certified

EMR / Training

• EMR: Athena experience preferred (not required)
• Preferred: paid shadow training day (typically 4 hours) prior to starting
• Online OSHA and HIPAA certifications must be completed prior to start (paid up to 1.5 hours)
