Production Supervisor

Production SupervisorWe are seeking a dedicated Production Supervisor to oversee a team of 35-40 employees. This role involves managing the shift with the assistance of 3-5 team leads. The facility specializes in using hydraulic-driven presses to mold hot rubber into flexible products. This position requires an individual who can maintain production efficiency and ensure safety standards are met.Job Responsibilities:Manage and supervise a team of 35-40 employeesOversee the work of 3-5 team leads to ensure smooth shift operationsEnsure the hydraulic presses operate efficiently to mold hot rubber into productsMonitor and maintain tooling, fixtures, and secondary items to prevent wear and ensure production stays within toleranceCoordinate with Die Setters to manage equipment such as hilos/forklifts and overhead cranes safelyOversee the shutdown and startup processes of machines, including unplugging and reconnecting hoses to moldsEnsure safety protocols are followed throughout the production processManage scheduling, payroll, attendance, and reporting dutiesEssential Skills:Minimum of 5 years supervising 25+ employeesExperience in OEM or Tier 1 Supplier supervisionProficiency in lean manufacturing practicesExperience in managing payroll and attendanceJob Type & Location:This is a permanent position based out of Auburn Hills, MI.Pay and Benefits:The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $70000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Benefits start 1st of the month following hire date.
