Practice Setting and Clinical Scope

As a Hematologist-Oncologist in our team, you'll be part of a respected and mission-driven care system. The role involves both outpatient and inpatient care, with a heavy emphasis on oncology. You'll be practicing with a focus on both intrathecal and intracavitary chemotherapy, leveraging your expertise to deliver cutting-edge care. Schedule and Assignment Details

Your schedule will include a mix of clinic hours and EMTALA call duties, ensuring a balanced work-life integration. Expect to work Monday through Friday, with shifts from 7 am to 7 am for call, alongside regular clinic hours. There is also a weekend requirement, providing a well-rounded coverage opportunity. The assignment is set to start as soon as possible, with a credentialing timeline of 90-120 days, so your ability to begin impacting patient care can start promptly.

Qualifications

• Board Certification in Hematology or Medical Oncology is required.
• Completion of a Hematology/Oncology Fellowship is mandatory.
• While a Kentucky state license is highly preferred, it is not mandatory if other requirements are met.
• COVID-19 Vaccination, BLS, and ACLS certifications are required.
• Experience with outpatient and inpatient hematology/oncology is essential.
• Proficiency in intrathecal chemotherapy is required; intracavitary chemotherapy experience is highly preferred.
• A Self-Query NPDB report must be available at the time of presentation.
