IT Security Analyst
vTech Solution
Job Summary: An experienced IT Security Analyst responsible for leading security compliance efforts, supporting audit activities, managing documentation, and handling incident response to ensure organizational security and regulatory adherence. Responsibilities: Maintain security plans and compliance documentation.
Lead Authority to Operate (ATO) renewal and ongoing compliance efforts.
Review risks, incidents, and corrective actions.
Track audit evidence, Plans of Action & Milestones (POA&Ms), and security controls.
Support incident response and recovery activities.
Coordinate with business, IT, and security teams.
Required Skills & Certifications: Experience with NIST, PCI, HIPAA, and FERPA compliance evidence.
Experience with complex IT web applications.
Experience leading meetings and preparing reports.
Strong knowledge of NIST framework and controls.
Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Experience working between business and IT teams.
Preferred Skills & Certifications: Experience with IT audit documentation.
Experience creating Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, and Incident Response Plans.
Advanced degree in a related field.
Special Considerations: Hybrid work schedule with onsite presence required 2 days per week.
Scheduling: 40 hours per week.
Duration: 1 year.
