Fulltime Youth Pastor

The Youth Pastor leads AHCC's middle school and high school ministry with a clear vision for discipleship and follow-through. This role keeps student ministry at AHCC focused on Jesus, well-led and worth showing up for. The Youth Pastor will provide consistent teaching, relational presence and organizational oversight, helping students, families and volunteers stay connected to the life and mission of AHCC. This is a full-time position. MINISTRY TEACHING & LEADERSHIP • Oversee all weekly programming for middle school and high school students, ensuring each gathering is welcoming and discipleship focused • Ensure a visible leadership presence at Sunday gatherings and actively participate in the broader life of AHCC Develop a plan for student care, spiritual growth and leadership development through groups, mentoring and discipleship rhythms • Recruit, train and develop volunteers for a variety of student ministry roles (i.e. teaching, programming, admin, etc.) MINISTRY OPERATIONS • Ensure Safety & Security policies are followed in all youth ministry settings • Collaborate with the Children’s & Family Director to ensure a cohesive approach to next gen ministry • Manage the youth ministry budget • Collaborate with other staff contributing to the broader direction of the church while representing student ministry Demonstrates the spiritual calling, giftedness and maturity required of ministry leadership • Ability to lead teams, organize programs and communicate effectively with both students and adults • Experience in youth or family ministry leadership, paid or volunteer • Based on experience, training, skillset and education, this position’s salary range is between $60,000-80,000.
