COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE • Pay: $34.00–$43.00/hour (based on experience) • Monday–Friday | Standard business hours (flexibility required based on business needs) • W2 | Full-Time ROLE OVERVIEW As a Commercial Loan Closing Specialist, you'll oversee the operational aspects of commercial loan closings from approval through funding. You'll partner closely with lenders, credit teams, attorneys, title companies, and external vendors to ensure every transaction is completed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with banking policies and regulatory standards. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will directly contribute to a smooth closing experience and the overall success of the commercial lending team. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Coordinate commercial loan closings by working with internal departments, legal counsel, title companies, and third-party vendors • Review loan documentation to verify accuracy, completeness, and compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements • Process loan funding transactions, wire transfers, payoffs, advances, and disbursements within established deadlines • Maintain complete loan files and accurately enter loan information into banking and loan servicing systems • Research and resolve documentation discrepancies while preparing exception reports and follow-up items as needed • Assist with loan audits, quality control reviews, and regulatory compliance initiatives • Cross-train within Commercial Loan Operations and support departmental projects to ensure business continuity MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • 3–5 years of experience in commercial loan closing, loan administration, or commercial loan operations • Working knowledge of commercial loan documentation, collateral requirements, and lending regulations • Strong understanding of banking compliance standards, including FDIC-related guidelines • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint • Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills • Ability to manage multiple deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively CORE TOOLS & SYSTEMS • Commercial loan origination and servicing platforms (Finastra LaserPro and Jack Henry SilverLake preferred) • CT Lien Solutions (preferred) • Microsoft Office Suite PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS • Experience supporting Commercial Real Estate (CRE) and Commercial & Industrial (C&I) lending portfolios • Familiarity with SBA lending, construction loans, revolving lines of credit, and other commercial lending products • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders • Previous experience in a high-volume commercial banking or loan operations environment LEGAL NOTICE By applying for this job, you agree to receive calls, AI-generated calls, text messages, or emails from CornerStone and its affiliates, and contracted partners.
