The role involves organizing the laboratory, ensuring compliance with healthcare standards, and optimizing resource utilization to improve patient outcomes. Required Qualifications Valid New York State license and current registration to practice as a Pathologists’ Assistant issued by the New York State Education Department (NYSED). Preferred Qualifications Experience in preparing gross tissue sections, performing postmortem examinations, and maintaining laboratory inventory. Proficiency in calibrating, operating, and troubleshooting medical equipment. Knowledge of laboratory safety precautions and infection prevention procedures. Additional Information Responsibilities include preparing tissue sections, performing postmortem examinations, maintaining laboratory supplies, and adhering to protocols and standards.
