In this role, you will lead quality assurance across products, projects, and manufacturing processes while partnering with teams throughout the plant. Engineers are empowered to challenge the status quo, lead improvements, and see their ideas implemented on the floor.As part of a growing site with significant long term investment, you’ll work alongside driven teammates in an environment that supports learning, expanded responsibility, and long term career growth.What You Will DoManage quality related issues and actively solve quality problems Partner with production and cross-functional teams to identify quality gaps and implement lasting improvementsPerform spot checks for specific projects and make recommendations for correction Monitor performance with project managers and product owners to ensure preventive and corrective actions deliver resultsDesign and continuously improve quality processes that make excellent performance easier to achieveCoach team members on quality processes, problem-solving tools, and meaningful performance metricsEvaluate and introduce quality methods and tools that improve capability and speedChampion compliance with specifications and quality standardsApply standardized tools including FMEA, Pareto Charts, and 8D Root Cause Analysis Drive knowledge sharing by capturing best practices and lessons learned Develop and support quality specialists through coaching, collaboration, and technical guidanceWho You Are (Basic Qualifications)Experience in a quality related role within a manufacturing environmentExperience using standard quality tools (8D, DMAIC, FMEA, multiple RCA techniques)  Experience leading and motivating a teamWhat Will Put You AheadA bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical fieldExperience with quality improvement techniques (Six Sigma, Lean, Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen) Experience using statistical analysis to identify trends and guide decisionsExperience interacting with customersAt Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
