Key Qualifications:
- Valid state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
- Previous experience in school-based environments preferred
- Skilled in administering and interpreting psychological assessments for eligibility and intervention planning
- Strong ability to write comprehensive psychoeducational reports
- Bilingual abilities preferred for enhanced communication within diverse communities
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and case management skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct a range of psychological evaluations to determine students’ educational needs
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to develop and implement student support plans
- Consult with parents and staff regarding assessment results and recommended interventions
- Participate in eligibility and IEP meetings as a key resource
- Provide crisis intervention and counseling as identified or needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all relevant federal, state, and district guidelines
