Shipping Clerk

Shipping ClerkOur client in Ypsilanti, is looking for a Shipping Clerk to join their team.What you'll be doing as the Shipping ClerkPrepare items for shipment using protective packaging and inspect all outgoing products for damage or nonconformance to ensure quality standards.Generate accurate shipping labels, prepare bills of lading, and meticulously record shipping data, including weights, charges, and inventory updates.Communicate directly with carriers to schedule pickups, resolve delivery discrepancies, and ensure all shipping deadlines are met.Proactively track shipments and manage the resolution of any logistical issues or transit delays to maintain service reliability.Reconcile outgoing stock against orders and update internal databases to maintain real-time inventory accuracy.What we look for in a Shipping Clerk1 year of experience in shipping and receiving operationsProficient in ERP softwareProficient BOLsHS diploma or GEDAdditional information for the Shipping Clerk$20 hourlyMonday-Friday, 9am – 6pmYpsilanti, MIAbout Express Employment ProfessionalsAs one of the leading staffing companies in North America, Michigan, and Ann Arbor, we're ready to help you take the next step in your career.
