Shift Type: Days, 8-hour shifts, one weekend per month with compensatory weekdays off

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with orthopedic, cardiovascular, neurologic, and medical/surgical conditions in an inpatient rehab setting
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, and functional independence
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including occupational therapists, speech therapists, and nursing staff
• Document patient progress in Meditech EMR and adjust care plans as needed
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and safety techniques

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Licensed Physical Therapist in Florida or compact eligible
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in acute care, inpatient rehab, or SNF
• DPT degree preferred but not required
• Strong critical thinking and time management skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in Meditech EMR
• Experience with treatment modalities such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and gait training
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach
