Responsibilities Develop and maintain a strong book of business by building and nurturing long‑term client relationships. Assess the insurance needs of businesses across diverse industries and present tailored solutions that align with their coverage requirements. Generate leads through networking, referrals, and various outreach efforts to expand the client base. Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and product recommendations to potential and existing customers. Collaborate with internal underwriters and customer service teams to deliver a seamless client experience. Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory requirements, and product developments to offer competitive solutions. Meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics through a consultative and client‑focused sales approach. Regularly follow up with clients to review policy performance, address questions, and recommend adjustments as needed. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and community engagements to enhance brand visibility. Qualifications / Requirements Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field preferred. Proven experience as an Insurance Producer or experience in commercial insurance sales is highly desirable. Skills and Competencies Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to establish trust and build rapport with diverse clients. Strong negotiation and presentation skills to articulate the benefits of commercial insurance products. Goal‑oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Proficiency in using CRM software to manage client data and sales pipelines. A self‑starter with excellent time management and organizational abilities. Certifications and Licenses Active Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance license or willingness to obtain one within the first 60 days of employment. Additional certifications such as Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) or Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) are a plus.
